I think that the crafting requirements are a bit lower than regular stream SH buildings. It didn't take long for me, I nearly upgraded all 5 from maxed out resources that i had stored (granted, I had 300+ pills which helped). I agree SH is a pain, but I got it all done AND returned all my resources to maximum in just 3 days.
