Beach hideaways

Question

I always ignored buying the beach hideaways, as I thought 40 donuts for 2% bonus wasn't really worth it. So I mainly bought items in the yearbook mystery box instead.
Having now bought a few hideaways, I came to realise that when you upgrade your hideaway, your bonus can increase to 20% for each one i.e 100% for all 5.
Wish I knew this ages ago :#
