- Just deleted and reloaded again and now I’m in. (Whew)
- JonalinnNew Spectator@4junk3000 and @KLmaker You are, sadly, not alone. I have the bart screen so often that I've suspended playing for the most part. Because of this, I've been weaning myself off the game because it's become just too frustrating to try and continue with so many repeated crashes. I might eventually just pass the game along to someone in my family who wants to play it. Very, very disappointing all around :/

Hang in there, J.
I just wrote you a freaking novel in the other reply, but the bottom line is, this game is fun but certainly has its drawbacks. Yet i think it has earned my faith, so I'll give it more slack when it appears to need some. It makes sense to step back from the game when it's causing us stress. But we're free to step out and back in as much as we want. Take as much break as needed to evade the stress, and when the game is back up to full speed, reevaluate if you want to keep plugging along.
A lot of frustration is rooted in a loss of control. As in, wtf is going on with this???? EA's poor communication history certainly triggers this. But we ARE in control. We choose not to invest our time when it doesn't meet our needs. It's ok to restrict our exposure to their frustrating-ness.
Uh oh I'm making up words so I'll just leave it at that. =) - JonalinnNew Spectator

I've left you my response in the other thread :) - Willy9292Rising VanguardMany people here are experiencing this issue. You only option is to keep trying or contact EA support
- I only get the Bart screen, once, twice, or thrice if I logging in and out to change towns.
- veryfaraway2New SpectatorI'll join you in not being able to get into the game. :'(
- lucienleon519Rising RookieIt’s frustrating enough getting booted out occasionally, but at least the game is playable for me.
- Homer being chased by SkyFinger first time I login. Bart screen.
Tap "Try it again". Repeat as above
Tap "Try again" and again sometimes as above. Bart screen.
Double press home button swipe TSTO up and reload and again sometimes. Bart screen.
Collecting building taxes, scroll to another part of town. CRASH, as in leave game and end up on iPad's games screen.
Tap TSTO icon on iPad's games screen.
Log back in, last few actions not registered, collect building taxes again
Rush jobs at employment office then scroll. CRASH.
Rush jobs at employment office then tap "Thumbs up" for a completed job. CRASH.
Rush jobs at employment office and wait to see what happens. CRASH.
Log back in after scrolling, tapping, waiting, whatever, all characters back at work, rush jobs at employment office again. Scroll, tap, wait, whatever. CRASH.
Dig up relic, puff of dirt going up. CRASH.
Dig up relic, notes and xp flying about. CRASH.
Dig up relic, Homer's clutching notes tap "Collect". CRASH.
Dig up relic, "You found ?", tap "Store". CRASH.
After collecting relic, game not crashed, pickaxe logo bobbing up and down so should be safe, tap dig site, tap "Play". CRASH.
After collecting relic, game not crashed, pickaxe logo bobbing up and down so should be safe, tap dig site. Do not get chance to tap "Play". CRASH.
Invariably, log back in go to dig site, last few actions not registered, dig up relic again. Hasn't crashed at that point yet.
Could be just scrolling, moving items, basically nothing special. Bart screen or CRASH.
Have been getting Bart screen a number of times, "No connection, this one's your fault not ours", but I can play other games that need broadband connection OK so why not TSTO?
Whenever I login, generally at night, (Most characters on 24hr tasks), when I get to play on iPad I can expect the game to crash about half a dozen times and a few Bart screens, sometimes more or can be less, I don't count.
Got to play just after noon today, collected taxes, Daily Challenge, pay, put characters back to work, Sideshow You, Parade Rollers put back to work, Scratch R tickets, new Broadcast, dig up relics.
Everything I do every day that I have been doing for ages even without an event. Plus event currency then put back to work, same crashing as usual about half a dozen times.
I wouldn't care if there were no event IF they fixed the bugs, it would show they are committed to the game. - 4junk3000New SpectatorYou are suffering from the same issue i am. But you seem to have it worse.
I assume they're working on it. They eventually fix all issues like this. They never make announcements about it. It just clears up some day.
I'm sorry you're the victim of circumstances beyond your control. I know they are frustrating. Try to do the minimum actions for the mini event, and use the sky finger and UE office 1x daily for tasking everyone else, if you actually need cash.
Hopefully it'll be fixed next. It seems clear they were working on the Kindle zoom bug until now.
In the meantime, try an "escape the room" game. I've yet to have one crash on me. Very relaxing.
