Can't send kids to spooky campfire anymore

Nothing is spawning on mine at all. I am supposed to be getting skeletons but the whole thing has ground to a halt as there are no skeletons and I can't send any of the kids to make them.

The only thing that I can do is fight the creature. Really fed up

Tap your Brown House and scroll down, you can send kids to spawn Nightmares from there.

Mine worked all day yesterday, I was slow with the first quest as Kirk and Luann are midway through their questlines (so they couldn't gather at the Simpsons House), and Marge was busy at the Kwik-E-Mart for the visual task, and Homer at Krustyburger for the same reason.

So up until that quest was completed, I was still having kids tell stories and gather smores. When it completed this morning, that has now been removed and had to send them to fight and to the brown house.

But you don't get to choose what is spawned anymore do you? My kids all spawn different nightmares, and I can't seem to choose what anymore.
