Can't send kids to spooky campfire anymore
It's not a glitch, it's part of Act 3. You'll get to send kids to the brown house for nightmares, once you've gone through the quest line, although that *is* glitched for many of us as they're not spa...

Mine worked all day yesterday, I was slow with the first quest as Kirk and Luann are midway through their questlines (so they couldn't gather at the Simpsons House), and Marge was busy at the Kwik-E-Mart for the visual task, and Homer at Krustyburger for the same reason.
So up until that quest was completed, I was still having kids tell stories and gather smores. When it completed this morning, that has now been removed and had to send them to fight and to the brown house.
