none.
its not just the per item cost, which is remarkably expensive, but the total cost of building the town that is absurd.
i started this game because i wanted to take a stab at building an authentic Springfield. but that appears impossible without spending over $100 on donuts. and that's only with the most efficient bulk purchase, laying out all at once not cumulative!
the game is I obviously designed for the wealthy, which isn't me. and since no amount of skill will affect this game, it's only for those who can buy their way through life.
EA's disdain for the unwealthy user is really clear:
- donuts are almost impossible to accumulate... and wasted on mystery boxes. I DON'T NEED ANOTHER PARKING SPACE OR TREE!
- impossible to collect enough gift bags for your friends in the Xmas theme. so i feel just as bad as i do shopping for real life presents!
- the most interesting landmarks in Springfield can only be bought, not earned
i have spent, and may spend again, Google play gift cards I've received. but there is no reason to spend a dime of real money if i can never really complete the town without spending well over $100. total cost to play this game should not cost more than a console game disc. the disc, not the console!
EA's thirst for cash is a real turn off. it's like a football to the groin each time i play it. it's sad that this is the only Simpsons game available so i have to live with it.
but thanks for asking this one "skin flint's" opinion.
