Christmas Corn

September 26, 2021 is the day to plant or last thing on Sep 25 so it's ready when you wake up Christmas morn.

If you have Marge the Witch you can even plant a little late and catch up.

It is simply something to do to enhance the game experience. It has no game bonus or change in status. It’s for fun. Plant corn on Cletus farm in September so you can harvest it in December.

It's just a fun tradition that some players participate in every year.
It takes three months for corn to grow, so it's like a count down to Christmas.

There used to be things done that started here, all the time. Like when Xmas lights would go on. Or messages with hedges.

Dunno bout you guys but corn just doesn't seem to go with Christmas Dinner, but boxing day is traditionally a ham dinner when corn would be a much better match.

How about New Year's Corn? Corn would go well with Black-Eyed Peas, Greens, and Cornbread.
And for those of you out there who aren't clear on the concept: cornbread is not white bread with corn baked into it. It's a type of bread made with corn meal and cooked in an iron skillet - you don't even need an oven, so you can make it over a campfire or in a fireplace if need be.
