I agree - no need to be so harsh. I haven't spent any donuts, and login in maybe 2-3 times during the day, and my Homer is level 103.

The reason it's so high is because I use up all my nerds (force of habit - I can't help but want to use them all up when they keep regenerating), and I defend attacks.

I'm pretty sure a lot of people who started playing from Day 1 have passed lvl 100 (for Homer at least, the other characters are nowhere close to it).

The only club i like is soda. With my vodka.

Homer levels up faster than the others. Mine is level 65 and I only send out nerds 2 or 3 times a day when I'm working-once in the morning before work and a couple in the evening when I get home. I also stopped defending my town almost two weeks ago after winning the last prize. It's not surprising to me that some people have gotten that high. :-)

brickevand408 is one of my neighbors as well, no need to get cranky.
I've only casually utilized the "glitch" and I'm over 100,000 gold and my Homer is at level 76.
You can do it too, believe me.

I haven't spent a donut on this event and my Homer is at level 97 right now. If you know how to take advantage of this event's…issues...it really isn't all that hard.

Not a donut spent and just got Homer at level 100 in my A-Town. I think I need another 10k gold in my B-town to get him there.
