As for me I am going to try my best to use all my event currency to buy those precious community point soccer balls.
I believe the more of us do that freemium as well as premium the better chance we all get those community prizes maybe?
What is everyone's view on this.
Remember there is no I in team.
We gotta work together here.

It's gonna be easy for me to do what you suggest, because I don't really want most of the things that are for sale for event currency anyway. So, it's not as if I'm making a sacrifice. I'll work to get lots of soccer balls if that's what it takes.
But just to keep this in perspective -- the requirement to achieve the final community prize is over half a BILLION soccer balls. Also, just meant as an FYI, there has never been a time that the final community prize goal was not reached. The one time it seemed absolutely unattainable, the code was tweaked. (And I mean it had to be a BIG tweak.)
It's fun to work toward it. If nobody puts in any work, then we can hardly complain when EA doesn't offer community prizes. We've been screaming for their return, and now it's time to follow through. I'm confident that we will.
(Seriously. Half a billion. That's billion. With a "B".) Egad.
BTW, here's a statistic ... on the PlayStore page for Tapped Out, it says "Downloads: 10,000,000 - 50,000,000"
Good Grief. Somewhere between 10 million and 50 million? Couldn't they refine that count a little bit? Don't they notice an extra 40 million downloads? I mean, really. ;)
Annette, you and I think the same on this. Plus some of the things in the shop will be winnable for free just like in act I.
By the way that's an American billion your talking about there. :) US that's 10^9. Other places it means 10^12.
The PlayStore stats say nothing about how many are playing.

Can someone please explain in further detail exactly how this will work? Are we playing with our neighbors, or the entire TSTO "community"? :shock:Cvija01 wrote:

but you can only have one of the buildings on town.
though it's funny cause the duff truck is not unique lol- I still don't get it. The first prize requires 110.880,000 - and the counter is on 55,060. Is this really how many players worldwide have kicked a football into a neighbouring town? And how many will be needed for the final prize?
:| - I suspect the 'counter' is more of a timer. Seems to be a little too regular to me. Just a way to encourage people to keep playing for the community. That being said, I'm all in favour of the community prizes and, to answer the other question, the community is not just you and your neighbours, but all the players worldwide.

I wouldn't bother much about all that. like previous mentioned before, it never happened EA denied us some community prizes. and they won't this time.
I think it's more a pretence to give the players the feeling they could achieve something together.- I posted in the sport balls thread but as a hoarder of fences, I'm not spending any amatuer bucks on the sport balls (beyond the first one in the questline)
Your neighbor doesn't get a popup saying X dropped a ball, you don't receive anything from finding the ball that others drop(I think that you finding the ball is what increments the community prize calender but I don't know if balls expire still count or if there's a ball limit and frankly, the ball is very small and this game is already eyestrain city for me. You are only supposed to get one of each community prize and, for the moment, they are not available any other way (I think). The way to get multiples that LP is referring to involves a glitch where you can claim the prize on one device, then login on another device and claim the prize again. I don't know the specifics of it because I've only ever played on a single device, but it has worked in the past for many people.- Edit: Sorry, double post, please delete.
