Crafting or Upgrading ?
If you concentrate on upgrading first you will get higher payouts for the tasks.
In my opinion is the Herbicide Squirter the better choice to upgrade since it gives high payouts for squishing the bob clones.
Upgrading Monsarno will make buildings available for free and later to craft.
I think a good target to aim for is
Monsarno lvl. 15-17 (depending your tapping habits)
Herbicide lvl. 11-15 (again, depending your habits).
the more often a day you play the higher your buildings should be upgraded. It pays in the long run
