So it looks like a lot of players are foreseeing a large surplus in crafting resources this event. I'm wondering if I should at a point stop upgrading the campfire and just go all out to try to stockpile the multiplier bonus items. There only appear to be two: the Wailing Wall (250 Brain, 2.25%) and Spooky Wall (200 Egg, 0.05%). I have to presume the Wailing Wall is unique and that we can only have one (can anyone confirm?)
So this makes me think that I should go for a few more rounds of campfire upgrades, and then just keep spawning snakes to the end of the event. At 0.05%, it is hardly a game-changer, but I figure that one more 0.05% multiplier is better than having another tree which I will not use. Realistically, after a few key items that I want to craft (which I already have enough to buy them all today), I just don't see myself having any other use for these event resources.
Of course, if I can get multiple Wailing Walls, this will be a "no-brainer" to craft more brains!
Can't you keep upgrading and stockpile items? You need to be gathering some resources to pay for the multiplier items, so why not do both? Also curious why you would just keep spawning snakes? They are the hardest to find, I'd go zombies if I had to pick one.
Well, the idea would be that if I only wanted one item (in the above example snakes for Eggs to make Spooky Walls), I would just produce snakes because the rabbits, zombies and skeletons would not be used in the end. So in a 16-hour stretch rather than upgrading the campfire a few times and having one "harvest" of snakes, I'd have snakes coming out constantly and no campfire upgrades going on.
