Deciding between two premiums...

Fireworks on the barge are all duds, too, a lot of people found themselves disappointed by it.

The Duff party boat has a better display of fireworks, I think.

There are also the actual fireworks. Two pinwheel fireworks will give you a 4% boost for the same price as the barge.

The ski lift is nice but it ain't worth all those donuts, especially since we're only getting a skin with it. Duff brewery is also nice, but it's very expensive and you don't get much in return. Buying the cracker factory gets you a character with good quests, plus fleet-a-pita unlocks for both SF and KL. That's what I call a bang for you buck.

Kirk gets an 8h premium pay out with the Cracker factory. Plus Luanne looks good in her 16h Dress in Flag task.

I have all three and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the cracker factory, the quests will keep you going for a bit, it completes a character set and it also opens the fleeta Quest chain. The ski lift is cool but I was disappointed by the fact all ssf tasks are inside except one so you don't even really see him which is a shame since he looks really funny in the ski suit, it is a limited edition tho so if you think you will have more donuts soon go with the ski lift, if not go with the cracker factory.

At least Flanders didn't already have a visible 12hr or 24hr task and I don't think any of the homers I use (reg, cool, plow) had a visible 12hr- and that 12hr really delivers.

Only read some of the replies but first I want to ask- do you ever buy donuts? Or is this just saved up as a freemium player? I truly think the answer to that makes a difference.

Even if you only buy donuts like once or twice a year I would probably say go with Super a sexy Flanders just due to him being limited while the cracker factory will always be there. On the other hand, if you've saved up for so long, I would lean towards saying go for the Cracker factory.

cracker factory is probably my favorite premium item. It's between that and Krustylu at least (Mel is my favorite character in general). I do really love the look of the ski lift though and since I buy donuts quite a bit (though I'm far from a completionist, I only buy what I like) I bought the ski lift right away.

My thoughts about each as far as benefits would be-

Cracker Factory-
-You get a good size building and premium character at a pretty decent price
-On of the biggest benefits is that it in addition to getting premium earning Luann you it ALSO gives Milhouse's dad who is obviously freemium, a premium task (8 hour "run the cracker factory"). In my game I have him running the cracker factory all the time even though I generally keep most of my characters, so long as they have them, on four hour tasks through the day. It's a much better money making plan to always send Milhouse's dad on his only premium task
-Unlocks the fleet-a-pita quest and those boost gluttony, I think it is?, really well plus can be placed in Krustyland.
- because of the additional quests with both Milhouse's dad and the fleet a pita, if I'm not mistaken, I think this is the longest set of quests for any item. I think I spent at least a week getting through it all versus the ski lift quest was done in just a day or two.especially if you're at level 48 the extra long quest can be a big plus.
- LuAnns longest three tasks are really awesome to watch and all outside
-It also completes the Milhouse family which is kind of nice
-I honestly can't think of a single negative really with buying this. Except that ski lift gives a boost to your town bonus while cracker factory does not. Cracker factory earns a good amount of cash though and obviously the ski lift doesn't earn at all

Ski Lift-
-looks awesome!
-amusing, though far too short quest
-the boost to bonus percentage
- Flander's can actually be seen riding the ski lift! (However it's such a long task I personally almost never use it)
-limited time
-Flander's sexy backside! ;)

Negatives though to the ski lift-
-no new character
-ski lift probably won't look so cool when the snow goes away
-while having a bonus skin for Flanders, especially if like me, you don't have any of his other premium skins, is a plus for earning money since he earns more in the premium skin HOWEVER, several of his taks need Homer which sucks since Homer is used so much for everything. When Homer is busy I believe you are left with just a 1 hour, 8 hour, and maybe 12 or 16? Hour. It's only three, can't recall the time on the last one since one of the longest tasks also requires Homer in addition to the four hour. This really bums me out and I find it hard to use his skin.
-Flander's himself is one of the core characters so he also gets used so much and has so many other skins, some even free. It's way better for in game cash and easier too, to send Milhouse's dad on his 8. Hour premium with the cracker factory and LuAnn has a full set of tasks herself. So you'll make more in game cash by far with the cracker factory

So I'm almost leaning towards telling you to go with the cracker factory. I highly, highly doubt you will regret it whereas when I saw how few tasks Flander's had that he could do solo (and only one of his three solo tasks is outside) I was really bummed though the ski lift looks cool, at least until the snow goes away.

Well thought out response. While I love the look of the ski lift....the cracker factory definitely gives you more bang for your buck ( or donuts! ).

Cracker factory is one of the best premium buys. But will you regret missing the limited time item? That's the question to ask yourself.

just an update - I went for the Cracker Factory and Luann! That being said, for Christmas I got an iTunes GC, soooooooooooo I got the Ski Lift as well! I'm hanging onto the rest of my donuts... I'm still debating getting Duffman or Dr. Nick but haven't decided yet.
