Deleting people waiting for be friends

I don't know about the blue person icon, and I'm assuming your question was how to delete friends outside of the game.

Something that has worked well with me in the past is to used the Origin client. You download it to your computer and sign in. There's a very easy interface in which you can quickly delete (or add) friends. I haven't used it for a while but it's worth checking out.

Another way I saw people mention was to download another EA game to access the friend list. I did this by downloading Scrabble. I'm not sure if you can see pending friend quests there, though. Never got the chance to check.
