I think we should get the monorail, it should run along the mountain range, and it should open the way to the Springfield gorge and badlands on the other side of the mountains. Not only would this be a good place for the desert items, it could give us a lot more space for random stuff like houses, repeats of Kwik-e-marts, etc.
Finally! I was looking for the person who had suggested this, and my search is over. Great idea, I'd love to see something like this!
