Please do a search on which areas in a city have the highest crime rates. Then do a search on the predominate musical influences in these areas. After this has been compiled, research the lyrics in the popular genre of music in those crime ridden areas. You will then clearly see a direct correlation that cannot be dismissed as simply, a coincidence.
The metaphor is correct and accurate and can also be applied to television.
Show me this hypothetical study and ill still have to disagree. I don't think rap music makes people commit crime. Back to Josh's ego...
