Do you still always tap every building?

I'm nowhere near the point of having too much money. But looking at some people who are at that point, is why I don't have too much of an interest in working on my multiplier. I mean, I do want the premium buildings, but I don't see any need to get apple trees and white fences. I never see them in the show, I'm not particularly interested in beautifying my town, and I don't see the need to use them just to get rich faster, if eventually money is no object.
