I used to bet the top option, the "best odds" choice, and I won/loss enough that it seemed a wash either way, perhaps slightly in the gain-side, but no so much that it really mattered.
As of a couple months ago, I no longer "need" money in this game. I'm at the point where all that's left to buy are the Aspirationals (and I've already purchased three of those, while never dipping below $2M).
Since then, I started betting solely on Raised by Wolves.
I just like the name.
Anyway, I haven't kept track of my wins/losses since the change, but I'm pretty sure I've won at least one of each type of bet (including the big one), and overall the process continues to be a wash. Honestly, I don't think about it. I just keep betting on RbW every time and move on to the next thing to tap. >shrug<
