Easter update splashscreen?

Why would they give a Easter update a week before Easter they should of have it last week and have 3 week event or something doesn't make sense
It was probably in the files and decided not to do it this year
If they have coded a large event;or any event, I highly doubt the would just skip it, it'd be a waste of man/women hours.
And it could just be a smaller event that last two weeks, one week each side of Easter.
