- It does suck that these characters that are supposed to earn event currency won't earn it until near the end of the entire event. But, I can't complain TOO much; because I wanted the character skins I got (Ralph, Bart and Lisa), and I still am interested in getting Lyla and The Peak Inn.
- I don't think it's worth complaining to EA about... :/
- I bought them cause I wanted them. I would never buy an item for a one time ability to earn event specific currency. I buy things because I want/like them. The amount of currency they usually earn is typically rather small (think Rigellian North Pole!) and has little to no effect on the event
That being said, it is rather underhanded to advertise one thing clearly "earns event currency" and give something different. It shoyld be advertised for what it is "only earns event currency in the late in the second act for a limited time" - EA person keeps referring me here to the forum on another not answering question at all..
Stated as much, and said give me a supervisor or manager if they could not give me an answer.
For me this is more about holding EA accountable for their advertising, and to see what if any results come of it.
Like most, I would have bought them anyway, but as others have put so well.
That is not the point.
PS: not feeling moaning or complainy
More of a puzzle to fiddle with - Whats more insulting is the Rigellian hut still pays out only 10 prize track pieces.

SpoilerWell now, I don’t know if this needs to be in the bug/issue thread or remain here. Nor do I know where to go when I have an EA Help rep refuse to give me a supervisor or manager. Initially over the (no event currency matter) but then spiralled into “Mark the rep” and his horrific customer service skills needing IMO to be reported, and preferably fired.
If anyone knows the process and or path up EA’s chain of command I would appreciate the insight.
So, as to the matter of Elf Lisa & Elf Bart, Christmas Tree Ralph, The Peak Inn, and Shiva not generating event currency
I was told by Mark, it will eventually give currency (yes I said I already know that it is about not advertising it as only generating currency for a small portion of the event) Mark said because it will give out currency. That it is all as it should be, and so no adjustments and or compensation is due or will be given.
Ps: I got to my horrible customer service rep, Mark, after 3 follow up notes regarding my ticket with EA, two phone calls, I was not given the Live Chat Option as described in one of their responses to me, and multiple transfers and extended holds during those calls.
This is my first utterly dissatisfactory experience with EA customer service.
Sorry to even post this, but perhaps it will save someone else from blowing their blood pressure through the roof, having a yelling and nasty conversation/ argument with an EA rep, and finally maybe that person won’t tell their rep as the rep scurries to hang up, “I hope you step in front of a bus”.
Ugh... not my finest hour
I think I need to go watch the good Dr W. meet Amelia Pond for the first time to decompress
Customer Service can suck. I don't know who you got, but some of these people have nothing but a script. They can have no power, no connections, no point in speaking to a manager because the manager just manages scripts, not anything to do with EA. Just hired talking heads. If you got someone in America and could help but refused to, then yeah, that's bad. Good luck making progress with them. But try not to get to mad at the wrong ones. I know that's a hard thing to do."2Strange4You;c-1857645" wrote:

Hi to you good sir! Yes sleep and rest first :)
Particularly as my EA play time is still ongoing. My latest response to me asking for a supervisor or manager now got me th response of, “ needing to provide account security for me they need to verify account ownership verification that is not possible via email...” so I am to contact them by live chat or phone.
After I put myself into a nice sugar coma with by ingesting too much chocolate cream pie, I will do the live chat. Sugar coma is to increase the chance that I am able to get through the chat in a cordial and civil manner.
I’ll let you know how it goes, and please let me know about yours if you decide to contact them.
PS: congrats on your continued skyrocketing your multiplier, are you going to hit 2000 before the end of this event?

I just had a live chat with EA. They sent me here and said their experts monitor this page all the time.
I informed here I was a regular here, sent here a link to the bugs and issues section, and challenged here to find one response from anyone from ea helping anyone.
She promptly ended the chat!
So much for the help!"daved7637397;c-1858015" wrote:

:D the promply ended the chat line made me laugh, all though it is not really funny. im one that dont care about the fact they misled players with their wording but more upset at the fact the customer help seems to be really unwilling to help their customers
hope it gets sorted out for those that feel ripped off"daved7637397;c-1858015" wrote:

They "monitor" and "ignore" it. She should have clarified that. Maybe she had to go...to the bathroom, emergency. I'm sure they meant well...."2Strange4You;c-1858146" wrote:

Cheezum Crepes!
What is going on with EA’s C.S.?
Perhaps Disney has notified them they are all being let go. I had a business class where we read a book on Disney’s running of it business. Its standards were ridiculously high.
Anyway, I loved how you attempted to hold her, and EA C.S. accountable.
Smart Thinking!!!
Pitiful the best the lady could come up as a response was to do the chat version of hanging up on you.
Well done and good for you on your end!
Not sure what you are on about as I was under the impression that Disney had purchased (depends on the commission if it goes ahead or not) Fox and affiliate not EA .
