End of Christmas Event

Thanks for the tip, but I went back about 6 pages and used the search function and didn't see anything, so I thought I was being helpful. No wonder I don't frequent these forums, think I'll go back to lurking rather than trying to contribute!

I don't think the snow would go away if the event ended. Last year if I remember correctly the snow didn't go away until valentines day, even though event ended earlier. Sucks for the people who are getting tired of snow I guess. :twisted:

I was under the impression we'd get level 38 for a couple of weeks before Valentines day is released.

That would be logical. Hopefully there's another episode tie-in slotted in there, somewhere, too.

Thanks! At least someone believes that my comment wasn't supposed to be "douchy" although it was a little gnarky.

Technically, I never said that I thought you MEANT to be that way. It's just how it came off to me which is why I suggested you scale it back "next time".

Honest question: What does gnarky mean? I've never heard the expression.

And here I thought it was a typo for snarky.

I like the snow and even though I haven't cleared the wheel clause co still left there really isn't anything to shoot for really so something new would be nice. But wonder why they extended it.

They probably realised a higher than acceptable amount of users still needed to clear the wheel, or gain all the personal prizes. This game probably attracts a load of casual gamers, who don't bother to add friends. The aim is probably to give them more of a chance to succeed, and to get more addicted to the game as a result. And maybe decide to buy donuts. I guess.
