Strange. I read the original post earlier and had no idea what the OP was talking about. As I read through the thread a few minutes ago it occurred to me that the last couple of times the "collect money" task had come up it immediately said "goal complete" when I clicked the register to trigger the task. In fact it just happened to me earlier today and sure enough I'm missing a donut.
When the icon appears the mission is already active... you don't ever even have to tap it. It isn't like the missions that are triggered with a conversation balloon.
Tapping the mission icon will show your progress, but is totally unnecessary since you already collect everything. Eventually the task will be completed without you ever knowing what it was.
Well no, you do what the task tells you to do. Which is collect money from shops/restaurants/houses.
Because it doesn't do that? If you tap it on the task bar it comes up with that little box, and as you can see from the OP's screenshots, there is a back arrow, like on every other task, to close it. It doesn't take a doughnut when you tap it in the taskbook, only when you tap the donut to speed it up. Like every other task.
He or she is obviously a new player not everyone knows the game perfectly and people make mistakes, im guessing they have learned not to pay donuts now...
