Fans to tap in neighbor's towns

A quest called "Fickle Fans" should start after "Balls of Glory part 4"
Homer should start it
  • Make sure you look around their maps. I have found it's time consuming in some towns to try to find fans. There all over the place, and sometimes I can't find any!

Glad it's not just me. Tapping my neighbours is taking twice as long as usual.

Yep, me too. Upside is that unless you want the $$, XP, FP, or possibly donut drop, 17 visits and you've got your 50 fingers. Assuming you even need that 50.

I have about 80 neighbors. I tap whatever fans I see when I first get in (if any), then make one really fast swipe toward Squidport, and only tap what I see on the way over there. (If any.) That's all the time I spend in the town. I hit the arrow to go to the next neighbor and do the same thing, and keep count in my head. If I get near the end of my visit list and am still far from 50, THEN I slow down and search. Haven't had to slow down even once yet. ;)

(That assumes, as you said, that you don't want the $$, XP, FP or possible donut drop.)

I'm glad we can choose which players to play the tapball games separately (I mean, not during our rounds) ... that way, I don't worry about whether I've visited neighbors at the end of the alphabet. It's a quick scroll down that list of neighbors to play tapball. ;)
