Some interesting facts regarding Pearl Jam...

A good couple of minutes read... Made my day...
Where were the facts? Seems like a bitter blogger, and his criticism is only 20 years past being relevant. It would have been nice to see some evidence of "ripping off." Blogs and bungholes...you know the saying. I've read better criticisms while pooping in public restrooms. I have to laugh at people like the poster who hate things that are more popular than what they like. Usually, this equals "failed/crappy musician." To each their own, but you usually only make yourself look salty. I may not like a lot of bands, but I respect most of them. I don't respect people with no intelligence, or people who are entertained by reading their blogs. Sorry troll, do you like anything? Or do you just like to rip on what others like?Simpsons00001 wrote:

You missed the fact in there "Eddie Vedder, a name which has terrified children ever since."
In all seriousness though I am sorry for starting the bashing of any band. As I said in my original response I am fine with anyone liking anything, I do not have to like it. Sorry again, twas no intent of mine to take this there.
And on a different note, any composers strike a chord with you worth mentioning?killeru666ba wrote:

Man it was just a fun read. I have to tell you though that in Eastern Europe, except for some time in the early 90s, nobody heard anything else about Pearl Jam. Now for all the sad people out there grab some hard liqueur and listen the fantastic sound of:
You can't say you've seen a live concert until you've seen Rammstein Live! Whatever type of music you listen you have to see them live.
And I hope you didn't call me an troll, but whoever that blogger was. Anyway, it doesn't matter if you like the band or not, some of that stuff there is funny!
And as far as what other kind of music I listen too, I already bought a couple of months ago the Roger Waters - The Wall Concert (~ 50 Euros/Ticket, damn Eastern Europe is expensive!).
To clarify, I did call you a troll: you posted 3 times before actually stating your favorite band, and that was only in response to me (2 posts ripped on bands. I'm not sure what the first post was, never heard of those names. If those are bands you like, sorry, I retract my troll statement.)
That video raises more questions than it answered... I don't speak German (I think that was German), so I'm not sure if that was a serious song or or something comical. Regardless, rammstein HAS to be better live than on that video. All I know of rammstein is "du hast." It was popular in america for about 4 days before the novelty wore off. I'm sure they have better material, but I'm not aware of it or inclined to seek it out. That video dissuaded me from any curiosity I may have had. I was entertained by it, but not in the way I want to be entertained whilst listening to music. Keep on rocking!- I love any group/artist that could sing and play instruments. :) For instance: WAR, Jimi Hendrix, EW&F, The Delfonics and so many more. I get my rap on too with Old School artists, 2pac, Snoop Dogg, Beastie Boys and a few more. I love Etta James, Billie Holiday, Phyllis H.yman, Minnie Riperton, Teena Marie and a few others like Mary J, Aaliyah, Faith and Mariah. My list can go on indefinite, but that's just the range of what I listen to.
Phyllis last name was edited by MOD. GEE WIZ :!: - Oh why not.... I have so many, but if I could narrow it down to just a few...
Rush.
Queesnryche (from Empire and earlier, Mindcrime is an AMAZING Album. Mindcrime 2 blows..)
Bob Seger. So many of his songs just take me back...
Floyd. Didn't we all go through the Floyd stage?
Savatage. Let me know if you know who they are.
man I could keep on going. I have a 32 gig Ipod that is completely full of music. No apps. I have about 500 albums and thousands of songs in my Library... nettangel wrote:
YES Bob Seger for those I want to cry lonely times. Such a sexy voice. We have tonight...who needs tomorrow, ah just beautiful!
He has just some of the greatest lyrics. Wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then...
