I love that there are so many varied answers here.
Yeah it's cool! But I think I may be the only one who's favorite band was Simpsonized!

Oh no no no, Sonic Youth was Simpsonized in Homerpalooza
And The Who. They basically had a show based around them. That's another reason why they are awesome.LeFreeze wrote:

There are so many bands that have been Simpsonized, but here's one that I remember from that threadkilleru666ba wrote:

To clarify, I did call you a troll: you posted 3 times before actually stating your favorite band, and that was only in response to me (2 posts ripped on bands. I'm not sure what the first post was, never heard of those names. If those are bands you like, sorry, I retract my troll statement.)
That video raises more questions than it answered... I don't speak German (I think that was German), so I'm not sure if that was a serious song or or something comical. Regardless, rammstein HAS to be better live than on that video. All I know of rammstein is "du hast." It was popular in america for about 4 days before the novelty wore off. I'm sure they have better material, but I'm not aware of it or inclined to seek it out. That video dissuaded me from any curiosity I may have had. I was entertained by it, but not in the way I want to be entertained whilst listening to music. Keep on
So grab yourself a Beer and lighten up :!:
Now that was better! Bikinis and rock are a great mix! That singer needs more or less makeup...I can't tell which yet. Beer would not get me to lighten up, it would only make me RAGE! It is funny how people interject their own "tone" when reading forum messages. I've been in a great mood all day; it doesn't mean I can't mock a blogger and someone who actually read said blogger. FYI, "Boring" isn't a fact, it's a mental construction. It exists nowhere except in your mind. It cannot be. YOU can be bored. Something can not be boring. YOU can THINK something is boring, but that would be called an opinion, not a fact. All that aside, here's proof that your blogger is insane:
(I shouldn't have used a video from PBS to show something isn't boring..lol)- Glad you liked that Bjork video nettangel. Here's my favourite video of all time, by another Icelandic band (I tend to love Icelandic music) called Sigur Ros. It's one of their older songs, but it's great. I'm seeing them live in March (my third time seeing them!) and I can't wait.

My first post, how about Black Sabbath with Ozzy or Dio, also Iron Maiden.
You could do so much better with a first post. Just kidding....Black Sabbath will never get old to me.spiffshine wrote:

"Animals" by Pink Floyd -- probably contains my favorite songs other than Goodbye Blue Sky
Animals is my all-time favorite album. :D
I can not disagree.
I am currently playing my entire collection on the iPod. It's odd to here Les Claypool's covers of thier music, followed by Pink Floyd's version. Claypool really does a good job, which is more than most can say.A_Bad_Exampl3 wrote:

Agreed, Les Claypool is amazing, I love his Have a Cigar.AMSnake-o wrote:
Do it! She has an app with games for each song. Check out this song (mutual core) the vid is crazy!
Thanks for sharing! It's great to hear that she can continue to build new and exciting sounds while keeping them accessible and familiar at the same time. It's not a common trait amongst recent musicians.
I noticed that you posted a Sigur Ros song later in the thread - great track and great band!
