Felons generating glitch - 6 groups of felons every 4 hours

I replicated it twice after first discovering the glitch in the morning.

I got this glitch without leaving the game.

Fought/defeated 4 groups of felons (have premium item)
Visit friends - only did social battles
Returned to my main town and the felons were able to respawn. So I cleared another 4 groups for a bonus currency. Validated that totals were accurate before fighting the additional groups.

Yeah. Tried it twice now and didn't work.

Are you sure it's not just a random thing? Yesterday my felons were spawning less than every 4 hours. I'd finish a battle and about an hour later new felons were available. Had awful trouble keeping up but back to normal today.

Similar to what happens to Gamer above. Couldn't figure out how it was happening. Sometimes I'd log out or go to friends, Krustyland etc. and sometimes it the timer just changed without me noticing.

It didn't give me me more but my timer is down to one hour and I just spawned 3 a minute or so ago.

Yesterday I was getting the speed up of the clock. Today I am getting the 6 felon groups every 4 hours. Both of them required me to go to Krustyland or the neighbor screen and come back to town. The clock speed up actually gave me more felons every four hours because many times it would be less than 10 minutes until I would get more. Both have been great glitches. I just got Maggie's skin.

Didn't work for me either.

Didn't work on my Nexus 7 either. After doing the Force Stop in the app settings I pulled up the App Manager to kill the Settings app and Tapped Out was still showing there - so I swiped it away. Could that be it?

I've got one more round of Felons today, I'll give it one more shot.

I used to be able to get extra felons from going to Krustyland and coming back to Springfield, but that hasn't happened since Act III started.
