I ended up buying him as i was not playing when they got him free. so i can have both when i get to that friendship level.

I've been playing from day 1 but when it had all the problems at the beginning and they took it out of the app store, I stopped playing for a while and missed out on some stuff. I still consider myself a day 1 player though.
