Yeah I just woke up and it is 6:09am local time. People have already gotten it but my counter still shows millions to go. What gives?
We're in the same time zone! :D
I knew I liked your town a lot. LOL
What state you in? I am originally from Michigan so I am not fully used to being an hour behind the east coast.
Little Rock, AR
You'll get used to it. I moved here from San Diego many, many years ago.
Do you speak Southern ?
:D
I do not speak Southern at all. I say "pop" when I want a carbonated beverage and I do not say "y'all" I say "you guys." I am a University of Michigan football fan living deep in the heart of Texas.
I actually drive by Little Rock at least 4 times a year (2 trips, going and coming) when I go home to Michigan to visit my family, at Christmas and in June for Father's Day (we have a family tradition of going to Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio on Father's Day for the last 38 years (that is why I spelled out CEDAR POINT in my KL).
After more than 30 years, I can't do "y'all". It's still"you guys". I do have the slow Southern drawl, however. I'm not a football fan, and people get serious about their football here.
We've seriously got to have lunch when you drive through! :D That would be amazing!
That sounds good. Yeah, I do not have that southern drawl. I have only been in Texas for 2 1/2 years and I still talk fast (though I talked too fast for Michigan as well). Some of my undergraduates I teach are like, "hey, what did you say?" And yes, people are crazy about Football in the South
