Anybody know if the runes that appear spinning above the Flanders Family Tome, as well as those on the two pages in the book, have been translated yet? Just curious if I should try to decode them...
I'm under the assumption that the runes are supposed to be ambigious until proven otherwise.
I mean, for all intents and purposes they could be real, and deciphered and decoded; but like the MST3K Mantra, I should repeating to myself, " I should really just relax!"- It never occurred to me that they might say something.....

here you go - frosted1414Seasoned NewcomerThe circle is just the rune alphabet, in order. And the book is just gibberish.
https://i.imgur.com/dHDOgFd.gif - It would have been fun for the runes to spell out something such as “diddly”
- LoanetRising ScoutIf it was so 'holy', it wouldn't be Futhark (the official name). A lot of countries (North Europeans) that used that alphabet had Nordic gods like Odin. They invented runes because runes are easy to carve - but of course they would have used it on fabric. Considering it's a book, if it was Christian it'd be in Latin, which is the language those countries switched to AFTER conversion and more significantly is easily written on paper.
You can wiki-check that information. I did.
I expect Flanders (also known as Captain Hypocrite) can't even read it. - Be sure to drink your Ovaltine

- Ever thought this was too much effort to put into a little tv show that's a comedy?
