Forced update but not playing

I updated a couple of days ago. Played a little in SH until i read about so many donuts being lost, at furst i thought it was just a few people...but seems to be a lot. I havent been back into SH and also havent moved any SF buildings into the area either..i case that was a trigger.
Going to hold off to see when patch arrives.
