Forward thinking plans

Hi all!

One of the things I've learned when working on teams and interacting with other teams, is that it's very easy to become stuck, while waiting on some other team to do their thing and pass it on to you. Much like running a relay race, it's best to be focused on how you'll run your lap, rather than fixating on why the runner before you is taking so long.

We now know that EA had been busy fixing the Kindle zoom bug, and I'm glad Kindle users have been remedied.

So it's highly likely that EA is working on the next major issue that's affecting so many of us. I know many of us have a game condition that's practically impossible to play. Loss of connectivity is a major ball buster, there's no denying it.

So to help us stop watching the pot we're waiting to boil, let's describe what our short and long term goals are for our Springfields. I'll start...

My short priorities right now are:
1. Do the minimum necessary to complete the recent MOM event
2. Acquire land tokens as efficiently as practical
3. Clear out the yearbook of all buildings, characters, and bonus multipliers.

And my long term goals are:
1. Rebuild a bigger, better casino area
2. Designate a new desert region, to include an Outlands area, Burning Man area, and hidden temple area combining the Egyptian and SC items
3. Create a realistic railroad feature
4. Move and expand the airport
5. Remove anything from the original grid zone, that no longer needs to be cramped so close to town square. Example: Cletus' farm is moving to the outskirts, now that the outskirts are finally so far OUT!
6. Develop several new, and expand existing, residential areas now that i have so many new premium homes (thx, Yearbook!)
7. Possibly rebuild my entire SH region.
8. Finally build a nice Christmas theme park I've always wanted one
9. Hide every tennis court!

I still need like 60 land squares, so it'll be a while. But I'm very motivated to acquire it all and really start some intensive town building. Patience for now, but soon...all the land will be ours!

What are YOU looking forward to building in the coming months?
