Awesome sauce! :D
I hope you don't mind, but I included a link to your 2d art thread in the Art section at the bottom of the Showcase Index sticky I made up:
http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/10050524.page - Awesome. It took me about 5 minutes to see but my 4 year old, 1 minute. Love !!
- That's Treemendous ;)
- Wow! That's very creative!
- Been meaning to pelt this on the threads for a while so maybe I will do it when I get home with my other device since I can't do screencaps on Kindle. Wanted to do something special for my town so I made the InGen logo from snapdragons and hedges and right next to it out of flowers is the T-Rex skeleton logo.
Great when friends do crazy stuff isn't it? Always good to see new art in towns. - oh my goodness! that's awesome!

Wow, that is amazing, looked at your other 2D pics and they're even more amazing! So clever and I'm so jealous of your design skills. Keys1980 wrote:

Very cool, I don't mind at all, rather I'm flattered you included me. Great idea for a quick reference thread! I'm all for organization and ease of access.
Keys, your art towns are awesome. Advice please about those panoramic views, with the little iconic items in the corner, like the Zirconium -- how do you manage to have a town with enough money (those decorations ain't cheap, and that much land REALLY ain't cheap) but without anything else? Especially the things we can't store ... Simpson house, Homer, Lisa and the Krustyland shuttle.
How many squares of land do you actually need for those towns? Do you have premium items to generate income/multipliers, or just keep tapping away for months? Are those the same town, repurposed for the next image by dismantling the previous one? (Gasp.)
Just wondering. I have a design all printed out on paper (ahem) to create, but need more land and stuff than I originally thought to do the version I like.
:)
