My donuts didn't change, it definitely was a double quest text bug thing.
I've seen the repeated quest text bug before but this was the first time that I got two items....most likely because quests don't usually give items.
I'm sure this won't get fixed because it doesn't really do anything bad and the 'bonus' that the player gets really doesn't effect the game. Also, by fixing this very minor issue they could possibly cause much, much worse problems with the entire quest code base. The risk is too high.
