It probably won't happen because Futurama got cancelled.EDIT: They could add a episode tie-in for the Simpsorama episode, which will air in the fall and they probably will.

People mentioning having a section of New New York. Just wondering what you think that would entail? The show is so diverse, I dont know how they could build a Futurama tapped out: youve got the planet express building, mom's skyscraper, but after that it gets thin. What else? The pizza place across the street? The orphanage?

Id love to see it happen, but surely the closest we'll ever get is a tie in to this game: sure it'd be odd, but dont forget The Simpsons were originally a tv show in Futurama, this concept of them coming to springfield utterly defies that logic.

Yeah, maybe they'll go that route. I was under the impression time travel was gonna be the gimmick to get the franchises together, could of sworn I heard that mentioned somewhere.
