I think it's fairly easy to collect tickets. I needed to actively get tickets for the Krustyburger but since then I have been able to build without sacing (the castle).
I seem to get 1 or 2 tickets from each friend with Krustyland that I visit. completed ones I get 3 from. But it could be that I live in an opposite timezone to my friends so they are sleeping when I visit.
