Did you tap the hammer thing to upgrade the tree? I didn't know I had to do that the first time. I just cleared the thumbs and waited. And nuthin' happened. Then I tapped the hammer and got the actual "upgrade" to take effect, and the next task popped up. :)

^What ForumNerds said. Also the only place the tasks show up is through the icon in the lower left corner.

Yeah I upgraded yesterday. Sent my two characters on their task for fertilizer and collected this morning. I sent them on a second round of fertilizer. The next time I logged in I saw there was an in game update and since then I can't send characters on tasks there. I have 20/40 fertilizer for level 2. That's it. Lol. My tree is going to be so short of it can't get more fertilizer. I click on he redwood task in the job book and it takes me to the tree but the task box is empty.

You haven't accidentally sent the characters on another job by mistake?

remember to go to KL or friend town and back in case it doesn't work cause maybe the level up screen is stuck it happened to me too and doing that made it appear

Same problem tried restart, log out ,KL, other town ,even a fresh install on another phone still no characters to send on this task . all characters are free. never had this problem before .

Same problem. Only need one person to upgrade to finish level 9 and won't give me the option. 15 donuts or stuck right now.

Well I'm not sure if it's because of the device you are using.

I have a iPad and I have not had this issue.

What device are you using to play tsto?

Maybe that will play some role as well.

I'm using an iPad and my tree is stuck at level 2.

I logged off my iPad and tried on iPhone. Same issue. It seems there is a certain issue where they force that you can't earn extra and the code bugs out. It seems a little inconsistent - I seem to recall a similar situation earlier on but it would allow me to send just enough to finish but not more.

This glitch is still active!

I am stuck at 230/240 fertilizers for more than a week now. Not able to progress... :(

Bump. New threads and More people with this same glitch, maybe EA will get tired of reading this and fix it.

Edit: Did anybody get a fix on this without a rollback or paying with donuts?
