Definitely not medieval, New Scotland Yard is Victorian (Victorian Romanesque style according to Wikipedia). Not bought it yet but will be pressing the button soon as I'm creating a Thames inspired area.

Don't be too hard on yourself; there is a Victorian Gothic style, and the most famous example in London is just a couple of buildings along the river.
