It's just like the mausoleum in the Halloween event... I would guess that it will also give out cash after the event is over but I'm just guessing

Gil disappeared after logging off. Did this happen to anyone else?

I'd rather Gil give me a deal that includes him as a playable character in my town. I'd pay donuts for that

Yeah, I thought that Gil's deal was Santa's Village, another Holiday Tree, and a Reindeer for 200 donuts. I swear I read that in one of the early posts about Gil's deal... but it was probably just someone trolling. Got my hopes up, though. I haven't seen Gil yet, although Apu is done with his week-long shift. I'll keep hope alive at least until I see him.
