I can understand it if someone doesn't want to read my post. In that, he could have either said that it was too long for him to read, or to not say anything at all. But for the first post to read that it's too long to 'bother' to read? Then to 'apologize' for being rude... then repeating his initial comment after ADMITTING it was rude?

When you 'repeated' what he said, you failed to include that point. I thought that it was improper to insult someone. And yet, he insulted me twice, by his OWN admission?

How is that okay?

At least drumnman had the decency to stick up for me. He might not have agreed with everything I had to say, but at least he was kind about it.
