Grand canal houses
Just see that these houses placed next to a River add a kind of terrace on the river itself. Anything else new like this?

It seems I'm too stupid for this. I crafted the fifth grand canal house(the corner-one for 220), but I can't make that Terrace appear. The doors just lead straight into the river. Can someone explain to me in simple words what I'm not getting here ?
