Maybe if you played it for more than a day, you'd know how they're included in the storyline. Rosshk wrote:

Yeah but whats so Halloween about it?- the bunnies and snakes are my favorite part of the event Larry
Let me explain:
They are two of the four "nightmares" that get released into your town. They represent two of the event currencies that spawned the most nightmares among players:
1) Whacking Day - this event I loved but those darn snakes were everywhere and extremely time consuming to find in neighbors towns. This event took grinding to a whole new level and the week extension helped to make the event the original "event to not be mentioned by name." This is my favorite part of this THOH event seeing snakes around town again.
2) Easter - The now most loathed event in TSTO history, the bunnies were fine, but the 3 colored boxes (wheel replacements) made getting all the prizes next to impossible without hundreds of wasted donuts. While I did not like the event at all, the idea of bringing bunnies to this THOH event was inspired
As you can see, the idea of making two of the most loathed/feared events currency's part of the "nightmares" was a genius stoke by the devs - bluyoshi88810Seasoned NewcomerI have to agree about the personal prizes. Such a waste for a highly anticipated event. It seems like EA really got lazy this time. The gray mare from level 57 didn't come from an episode either. It makes me nervous for what will happen for X-Mas.

Makes sense, should have guessed easter- Just want to thank Brett for the explanation on bunnies and snakes. Like the OP, I didn't get the reference since I only recently had my first anniversary on TSTO. The more I understand the background of this game, the more I enjoy it. :D

Never mind the Unfinished Shed Fantasy Character ! But in all fairness the Old Gray Mare was at least mentioned in a Popular Song sung by a character in an episode, rather than some throwaway dialogue scene-filler that inspired the Unfinished Shed, thrilling addition to the game though it was for some. I started getting really nervous when Clash of the Clones hit but I think that this year they have gone from shooting themselves out of a cannon to going back to canon.
Glitches and all.- No pumpkin patches, no Rigellian shrubs, no Rigellian huts, no Pumpkin Houses, no Suzanne...
I also think Jesse Grass and the Spuckler kids should be able to roast smores around the campfire. petehd14 wrote:

Its so sad that they didn't re-released the shrubs :( they are really beautyful.
Also the premium skins for lisa, martin and milhouse are overpriced for what they offer.
radioactive milhouse: 3 tasks
Sax Lisa: 6 tasks, 5 of which are 4 hours
Wizard Martin: 2 tasks
really lame
