Has anyone ever completed a task before, without using money/donuts?
Do you mean task or event? I've been playing since last July and I've completed every event since then.

on occasion I'll use a donut or two just to get the first task accomplished so I can start the event, and I have never needed donuts to finish an event, unless you count the Scottish event, where I spent waaayyy to many donuts to make sure I got Sherry Bobbins. But I could have finished the event without doing that.
