They were A limited time item and what's supposed to happen is they're supposed to burrow down from where you position them and attacked the school for 10 hours with Bart playing with the remote control. It's not greed. Its due compensation for their mistake they sold me an item that they broke they don't have any quality assurance they should be made to pay for their mistake they are a multi-billion dollar corporation. Why do I have to keep waiting for them to fix it it's been noted twice now in two different patches that this item has been broken.

All I hear is wah-wah-wah, ea is rich, they need to give me money cause something broke.
Things happen, code breaks. Most likely when they switched seasons, it broke them. Then when they switched back, either it was the broken code or something added is disrupting the animation ( like Maggie's hunt animation).

Give it time and it'll get fixed.
