why are people still asking for night mode? you really want them to spend months recoloring all items and redoing all animations for it? and download double ammount of data?
Nope. It wouldn't require everything being redesigned. A filter to darken the screen in all places except where light from street lamps, etc. would be. Some lighting effects would be required and could be done with programing rather than animation.
i see what you mean that could be possible but a nightmare to program as light sources are part of the images of the buildings and are animated through building images not on their own :/
