The only thing that worked for me was 1go to Krustyland, collect a couple of tickets
2 tap on the Homer icon "it'll say this job is in Springfield do you want to go there now
3 go to Springfield
4 tap completed on the task bar
5 this will direct you to the stack of thumbs up
6 this rewards prizes and moves on to task 15 (idk if Lisa needed to be free but she was and she had dialogue which prompted a Santa 8 hour task
Note: going into Springfield without steps 1&2 above will just show stage 14 done in the task bar but won't progress to stage 15 (going to KLand after step three doesn't trigger the reward popup...I just resent Homer on the job and will see if that unsticks the done message (going to friends didn't, logging out and back in didn't, force closing didn't...I'll try again in 4 hours...my Apu tasks required a Kland synch but they were fine with a post task synch but Homer flying required preattask synch :(
