Glad I'm not the only one who thought so! 12 hours for only 25 eggs.... That sucks :evil:

I got 25 too.
They might have meant when you had to put him on it for the quest line you receive 250 blue eggs after it, that's the only thing I can think of.

Correct---the first time for the quest gives the extra reward, then it becomes just a task
