It's so easy to misinterpret meaning on these forums

A lot of said hostility is a matter of interpretation. For example, if I were to say this thread doesn't belong in the Game Discussion forum, I'm not being rude, just honest.

I do agree with the OP. To get pleasure and find humour from being hostile and actively unhelpful to complete strangers is just about the lowest of the low. My guideline is to look at someone's last 50 posts. There's one or two in here who have never posted anything helpful at all, just unfunny and stupid things. How I wish we could have an Ignore button so we never had to read their useless twaddle again.
