You should sign up for my Google group. I send out a notice (as soon as I think of it) when new events become available.
It's a Google group so it's as secure as Google is.
I can't see people's passwords (though you should never use your game password anywhere else anyway).
Only I can see who's signed up for the group.
Only I can post there, so no endless list of emails like some sites.
I only send out notices for new events and limited time stuff like sales and character availability. I think I've posted about 12 or 13 messages since I started the group in June.
