I am finishing my Easter quest

Thanks for these encouraging words mwdalton :)

In fact, I was delaying the end of the quest in order to get more baskets, and I did get more baskets ! This morning, I sent Lisa to talk to Mr. Burns, in 8 hours the quest will end, which means no more baskets, and probably no Faberge egg as well. I will continue to open boxes as they arrive, but as for visiting friends frenetically as I was doing it, I might reduce the rhythm. :)

But I don't understand you the event is soooooooo fun. Don't you have fun, spending an enormous amount of time to collect 1000 common eggs, converting them in 500 uncommon eggs, than spinning the wheel...box, winning 300 gold, adding those to your total, spinning your only gold box in days only to win 250 common eggs. I know I find it fun, what is there not to like!

That is what happened to me yesterday and really I could not think of something more fun to do than collecting those pink eggs and converting them in half the amount in blue egg (it is almost like doing magic !) Really I was over the moon ecstatic or should I say eggstatic! Really the BEST BEST BEST fun I had in a long time. Must buy gold eggs to make it even more fun to win the 250 common eggs.

Really Pinkspaceangel, I don't understand you at all! Even if you don't complete the event, don't you find collecting all those eggs fun! I do! I like sooooooooooooooo much to squish those little bunnies is and going to all my friends' town to collect eggs is just too fun to stop! I don't need to get anything else out of it. I mean this is the BEST event by far!

*** edit to my neighbors, this event is just too much fun for me, I am afraid for my sanity, but I will keep on clearing the handshake in my town so you can still collect eggs, as far as it goes for the basket... well never was lucky so you should not see a difference!

In the meantime, I know I have put all efforts needed to get these characters, but the odds were against me. I am not a happy camper !

I already did a few days ago, I doubt it'll help but if they aren't reading the forums then they have to find out how much most of us hate this event another way. So I agree - email EA and have a long rant if you hate this event, who knows, they might take notice...

I am right there with you, and I am wondering if they put they gold egg option in the store due to all the complaints. I have a few hundred doughnuts saved up that I will use on gold eggs on Mother's Day.

Nope, reports indicate that it was in the code from the very beginning. No one got an update screen, which supports the notion that it was just on a timer.

and as for the sanity, I am leaving tonight for the weekend, in the woods, no internet, no phone, just birds singing, hoping to get my mental health straightened up a bit. :)

I still have 2 blue baskets and one pink basket, but hey ! I am detaching myself from this INSANE event, and will free my mind in the weekend. Thanks to everyone for their help !

I am doing my complaint letter to EA Monday morning. They do read the forum, but complaints letters will make the emphasis on the fact that we are fed up with the odds/bad luck events. We need to have fun, not to obsess for something that we will not get unless we spend a fair amount of donuts. I spent 100 donuts, and still am missing the two good prizes I wanted.
