A friend of mine was once gifted a horse. He was very happy with the generous gift. At first. A few minutes after receiving the gift, he suddenly got irate. He had decided that he didn't like the horses teeth. He complained bitterly about this. Finally, after stamping his feet about this for five minutes, he went up to the horse to have a better look at the horrible teeth. As he examined the teeth up close, the horse promptly bit his nose off.

Complications arose while waiting for the ambulance to arrive. As he lay on the floor inside the horses stall screaming in agony, the horse somehow managed to, ummmm, make number 2, on his face! He suffocated and died from being smothered by horse number twozie!

Tragic. Tragic tale, I'm sure you will agree. I learnt a valuable lesson that day. Since then, I always make myself available when a friend gets a present, you never know, you may get a free horse out of the deal. I inherited Mr. Ed as a result of my friend's tragic death. He'a great horse, I took him to the horse dentist and his teeth look fantastic now. For some reason, he has never bit me.

Reminds me to a lesser degree of the Christmas giveaway. I bought a reindeer only to receive 27 more Reindeer for free, sure if I knew I'd soon receive 27 free reindeer I would not have bought the one for donuts. I certainly didn't curse EA for giving me free Reindeer though.

Buy one get one free, that's the way you view it. :)
Quick tip: always wait until the day at celebrating itself, or until wen you know he end is nigh on an update. So today or say the 27th of December when it ends on the 28th, thn buy your premiums, that way if one is magically free- you get it and save cash if you want only one. And if you're too trigger happy to wait a little while for our little premium firework dec or elsewhere like a reindeer you have no room fr complaint because you ha the opportunity to hold off for a while but instead bit the bullet early. How this helps :)

Basically they don't think through "cause and effect" well enough. They should do a little bit more about (short term) scenario planning, I think :wink:

I whole heartedly agree :) On the lighter side... no game gives directions to hidden levels. That's why so many Hints & Tips sites have become so popular. Before the www was invented, people had to play Atari and Nintendo games over and over to discover everything. Even though EA should communicate a lot of things, they don't...for whatever reason. When I purchase a console game, I never see exact directions. Maybe that's just a flaw with all games. Just my opinion :)

EXACTLY!! 50 DONUT ITEM!!

I believe that is the largest amount of donuts or their equivalent to ever be given away for free on a holiday.

I missed Halloween, so I don't know for sure. But usually we got 5 donuts for free on holidays. So I actually like this value even more. Thank you!
