With all due respect, to complain about getting a freebee is silly and, I hate to say, a bit childish. No matter how much people hate EA, they are going to laugh when someone complains about something so trivial. If you had started an alternate thread topic that expressed why you dislike EA, I think you could have avoided getting flamed. Sorry, but you left yourself wide open with your OP.

If you want to actively petition EAGames to improve the quality of their service, then I applaud you. No offence, but I think you need to search for a more productive way to achieve this other than this thread.

They didnt rip you off, you chose to buy the fireworks, and now you have them. Just cause they decided to give out one for free has nothing to do with your original purchase. It's a 2.25% boost to all jobs per crate, now you have 2 which brings it to 4.5%. It's not like EA gave it to everyone else and not you because you bought it.

If you bought an ice cream cone, and then when you were done they gave you one for free, would you throw a fit then?

I bought one too, but I'm not crying about it. You seem very ungrateful, hate to have been at your birthday parties as a kid.
